I understood some of it, as I'm not a electrical engineer. But I retained enough (perhaps) to get a sense of the possibilities, which are potentially life-altering.
If power requirements were no longer the primary impediment to scalability of such powerful optical memory processors, then the world may change very quickly, in every conceivable way.
