Everyone out there who said that Trump started out slowly, didn’t understand that Trump knows a thing or two about pacing.  He was building up to this part of the speech.  If you’ve watched his rallies, you’ve seen this type of rhythm for the last decade.

Half way through, democrats cheering that they voted against tax cuts, al green kicked out again, 1/3 of them refused to stand for the hockey team, or Dell or Kirshner that gave over 6Billion dollars to trump accounts for kids.   They want to take money from billionaires, but when they freely give, they jeer.  Meanwhile, @POTUS
 is a happy warrior and giving the best speech of his career.

Trump laying out a strong case against the Iranian regime. Emphasizes that his preference is a diplomatic resolution, but makes clear that he will never allow the regime to develop nuclear weapons, whatever it takes.

Nothing specific about the massive US build-up in the region & what may come.

WOW.  No clapping for bringing the Monster of Venezuela to justice without toppling of a regime.      Bringing the Political Prisoner to surprise his daughter is something that only Donald Trump can pull off.  Other presidents left and right bore me with these things.  EVERY single guest has been powerful.   Unless you are a democrat member of congress.   Oof.  Not a good look.

The citation for his award isn't public yet but from what Trump said about the circumstances: was wounded 4 times while piloting a CH-47 Chinook filled with Deltas - despite his wounds, he managed to get the helo positioned for his gunners to take out the MG nests that shot him up, then delivered the operators, then surrendered the bird so he could be treated.
