The Daytona 500 is one of America's signature events, and it delivered.

Most of that race was bunched up like crazy, which it doesn't surprise me that the last lap went all nuts as they all got desperate.

  • The problem with everything is they try and make it better without realizing the old way is fine.

Did the black Bubba, run this year or did he noose?
You don’t become cooler with age but you do care progressively less about being cool, which is the only true way to actually be cool.

Ended up in tenth place. Was leading for a while. I didn't catch when he fell back in the pack, best guess is that he mistimed his pit stop.

I wish I could get back into NASCAR.

Man, I remember all those Sundays, a bag of Cheetos (puffy, slightly stale), professionally crafted sandwiches, Sweet tea, and NASCAR...

I walked off somewhere after Tony Stewart quit driving. LeBonte was already gone, and the Big No.3 was in the sky. I really couldn't find anyone I wanted to root for.

Then the whole 'race for the chase' crappola... Junior getting fined stupid money for on cuss word... I just walked away.

Tried to get back into it, but by now, I don't know any of em... All the bouncy, jangley crap on the screen... Nah.
