Islamic Terror at Iconic Arc de Triomphe in Paris: Muslim Terrorist Targets Police Officers in Mass Stabbing

A mass stabbing targeting police officers took place near the Arc de Triomphe in Paris during the rekindling ceremony of the Flame of the Unknown Soldier. Authorities say the suspect had previously carried out a stabbing attack against police in 2012 and was later released.

Authorities have identified the suspect in the Arc de Triomphe mass stabbing as Brahim Bahri. The attack targeted police officers during the rekindling ceremony of the Flame of the Unknown Soldier, a solemn national event.
 
The incident has renewed scrutiny over repeat violent offenders and security measures at major national ceremonies. Investigators are continuing to examine motive and potential extremist connections.
