Seems to me to be an unfair comparison of a service rocket [ Falcon 9 ] with a rocket intended to go to the Moon.

Moreover, no mention was made about Bezos' New Origin's New Glenn rocket which stands a better chance of getting to the Moon long before Starship.

The article was about relative launch costs for the two companies.

The cost of getting 1 lb. (or 1 kg) to Low Earth Orbit is the usual "yardstick".

SpaceX, by massively reusing their rockets, gets their cost down to $1400/kg. NASA's SLS (with 130,000 kg-to-LEO capacity) has an "expendable" design [i.e., single-use], and costs about $15,300/kg ... 11x as much.

I think SpaceX is way ahead of Bezos' company, to be honest.

No, Earth orbit for StarShip which has not done so yet. Its just gone up, and after traveling a distance, has gone down without achieving LEO.

Wiki is out of date, the lander contract goes to the first contractor - SpaceX of Blue Origin - that has the lander ready to go on time.

Currently, SpaceX does not have even a prototype of their lander. Landers are the hard part of any manned mission to the Moon. Landers can take far more than 5 years to go from prototype to tested and certified lander. It is virtually impossible for SpaceX to get their lander ready before 2028.

NASA continues to press ahead through the Artemis II wet dress rehearsal countdown - a fueling test of the SLS (Space Launch System) rocket.

Early this morning, at approximately 3 a.m. EST, teams powered up the rocket’s core stage, which will be loaded with more than 700,000 gallons of liquid oxygen and liquid hydrogen during the tanking phase of the countdown. This will occur over a series of different propellant loading milestones to fill, top off, and replenish the tanks. The interim cryogenic propulsion stage also was powered up overnight.
