I don't mind salad, but my concept of it is that it is just a bed of green crunchy stuff to load up with things I like (cherry tomatoes, green olives, pickled jalapeno slices, raw onion, bits of bacon or even sausage, Feta or Blue cheese, crumbled) and drench in blue cheese dressing. That way, there is a variety of textures and flavors in there.
I like broccoli and cauliflower in cheese soup, and even on salads.
But mostly, I'm a meat eater.
I only once ever ate Brussels Sprouts I actually liked, cooked by a friend who passed years ago and took the recipe with her.
