Thank you, Texas.  You let the gerrymandering genie out of the bottle.  I can't wait for lines to be redrawn between primaries and general elections every election cycle.

Can't wait for the GOP to be squashed during the mid terms!  Something to look forward to for a change.  *****rollingeyes*****
Live in  harmony with one another; do not be haughty, but associate with the lowly, do not claim to be wiser than you are.  Do not repay anyone evil for evil, but take thought for what is noble in the sight of all.  If it is possible, so far as it depends on you, live peaceably with all.

Every Blue state is already gerrymandered, Texas was just evening the score.

When are the rest of the Red states going to get off their butt and do something?
The Republic is lost.

Better theater will happen as Dems impeach 47 for the 4th time (?) and this time they will have the Senate to vote for Removal. Then, there is the spectacle of the entire border wall being torn down on live TV, as millions of people march into the US with their heavily armed Cartel escorts, chanting "Free Stuff For All, Forever!!"
Democrats would rather rule over ashes than govern a functioning Republic

Massachusetts kind of invented gerrymandering.

Now, AI will more efficiently gerrymander to advantage the party that runs the state government, in real-time, as each election ballot is cast, to provide the pre-determined outcome, while maintaing the illusion of majority rule with minority rights.

Yeah might be time for an amendment but I’m not sure what to trust you know? Would a “bipartisan committee” be better?

There needs to be an interstate compact.  Software has been available to generate neutral maps for quite some time.  It will make the process simpler if the Supreme Court gets rid of the Voting Rights Act.

Vulcan wonders:
"When are the rest of the Red states going to get off their butt and do something?"

They aren't.
Because... the red states are run by... Republicans.
