Among the demands are an end to roving patrols, oversight by state and local governments where ICE and DHS are operating, along with the right to sue. Lastly, Schumer demanded that there be "no secret police."

1.) ICE agents have to hide their identities because of the threat that radicals will use facial-recognition to identify and terorrize ICE agents and their families.
2.) Feds have no Constitutional requirement to submit to state and local authorities, who have been actviely obstructing Federal Immigration Law enforcement.
My counter offer is this:
1.) RICO investigations of corrupt enterprises and organizations, including those who fund them, that actively conspire or fund conspirators to commit criminal acts against Federal Law enforcement personnel, on-duty and off-duty.
2.) A Federal fiscal seige of States with "Santcuary" juridictions - no Federal monies for state-administered social programs.
3.) A law that requires recipients of state administered social programs, that receive Federal funding, to be American Citizens or Legal Residents as defined by US Code, and to provide verification by filling out an I-9 for every person each and every time they apply for (Federally funded) benefit programs.
4.) A law that makes Medicaid a re-imbursement program for GAO-audited, qualified expenses by quailfied recipients who have filled out an I-9. No upfront grants.
5.) A law that requires state law enforcement agaencies that receive Federal funds act on ICE detainers and to notify ICE of illegal criminal alien foreigners when they are in custody; upon release from jail and prison; on parole; on probabtion.
6.) A Federal Law that requires recipients for Federal Student Loans, or student loans underwritten by the US Government, fill out an I-9, and that US Universities that receive Federal funds to require all applications, students, faculty, employees, etc., to fill out an I-9.
I have to prove my US Citizenship (i-9) when I apply for employment. The same should be required of beneficiaries of Federal funding or underwriting.
