No. You aren't the only one. My family has been here on these shores since the 1640s, my wife's folks quite a bit longer, yet we still have had to fill out I-9s.

A very long time ago I did some modeling and the photographer who hired me had me fill out an I-9 form. My current job likewise required an I-9 form and a full background check.

I've never filled out an I-9 form.  When I was first hired at my last employer, it was 1984.
