Russians Lose Second Ka-52 in 24 Hours; Casualties Reported

Russian forces have lost a second Ka-52 attack helicopter in the past 24 hours.

Russian propagandist Ilya Tumanov, who runs the aviation channel Fighterbomber, reported on this.

According to him, the crew attempted to eject, but one of the pilots was killed immediately upon the helicopter being hit.

Despite the loss of the aircraft and the death of a crew member, the propagandist did not specify the exact causes of the incident, calling them “unclear.”

This is already the second loss of a helicopter of this type in a day. On March 20, 2026, in the Pokrovsk direction, a Ukrainian FPV drone shot down a Russian Ka-52 attack helicopter.

After being hit, the pilots were forced to land the helicopter. However, strike drones eliminated the crew as they attempted to escape from the wrecked helicopter.

It is worth noting that Russian forces actively use this type of equipment, which is why the Ka-52 suffers the highest losses among the Russian Armed Forces’ aviation. According to data from the Oryx resource, the Russians have already lost more than 66 such aircraft  .  .  .

In December, 2000, I told my Russian father in law (to be) when he asked me what I thought of Putin, I told him 'he is a no good thug'.  His eyebrows rose and he gave me a long look, and did not utter a single word.  Nothing has changed since then other than his decisions have become gravely irrational.  This war upon Ukraine is completely irrational. 

What he has done is destroy both countries.  He has made life extremely difficult fot the Russian people and he is well on his way to losing one million Russian men on the field of battle besides destroying billions if not trillions of dollars in assets in both countries.  His name will go down in history unfavorably, and the Russian people when he is dead will spit at the mention of his name.

But his good friend Donald Trump is going to fix everything.  "I will end that war in 24 hours" per Trump.  It has been a long 24 hours!!!!!!!!!!

This war will not end until Putin is dead.  One brave Russian has to stand up and kill this evil man!!!  And even then, depending on who replaces him, maybe not then either!

Several strikes blew up huge swathes of the Baltic Sea port of Primorsk — which processes at least a million barrels of oil per day in a market already crippled with rising prices over the Iran war.

Drones struck fuel storage tanks at the port — home to Russia’s clandestine network of so-called “shadow ships” — with satellite pictures showing smoke rising from several areas of the key terminal.

The port was struck as Russian defense systems desperately managed to intercept more than 70 other drones above Leningrad overnight, according to the area’s governor, Alexander Drozdenko  .  .  .
