 is most irresponsible and really really dumb public official in the country. He stoked this violence, egged on the leftists to continue to protest and prevented ICE from doing its job arresting violent illegals. The mayor is a close second, but Walz really is the worst and he almost became VP.

I’ve said this numerous times: Minneapolis was always going to see mass riots once more incidents occurred.

Those incidents are inevitable when political leaders like Tim Walz, Keith Ellison, and Jacob Frey continually fan the flames by refusing to coordinate with federal law enforcement.

But they needed a distraction from the fraud, and this was a sacrifice they were willing to make.

A federal agent had his finger bitten off by a far-left agitator amid the latest flare-up of unrest in Minneapolis.

The cause of the shooting is currently under investigation by the DHS.

During the unrest, a Homeland Security Investigations (HSI) agent had their finger bitten off by an agitator. The victim, an HSI officer, was engaged in operations targeting criminal networks, including human traffickers and drug cartels, in the city when the vicious assault took place.

Eyewitness accounts and official statements describe a rioter lunging at the agent before biting down savagely on their finger, severing it completely. The agent was immediately rushed to a local hospital for emergency treatment, where medical teams attempted to reattach the digit, though the long-term prognosis remains uncertain.

“In Minneapolis, these rioters attacked our law enforcement officer and one of them bit off our HSI officer’s finger,” DHS Assistant Secretary for Public Affairs Tricia McLaughlin confirmed in an X post. “He will lose the finger.”

The post was accompanied by a gruesome photo of the severed digit.

At least two individuals were taken into custody in connection with the the attack, DHS said. “The suspect who allegedly bit the finger off of an HSI agent in Minnesota today has been arrested and is in custody. I have directed my federal prosecutors to file charges for this heinous assault on our brave law enforcement officer,” Attorney General Pam Bondi said in a statement.

While initial reports focused on a single perpetrator for the biting, DHS has released photos of multiple suspects involved in related violence during the same protest, suggesting possible accomplices in the broader confrontation. It’s unclear if additional arrests are forthcoming, but investigations are ongoing to determine if others aided or encouraged the attack.

The charges against the arrested suspect include federal assault on a law enforcement officer, with potential enhancements for the severity of the injury.

Winter Storm Fern is well underway, hitting parts of the South and Midwest as the East Coast braces for hazardous conditions overnight.

New Mexico was hit with snow late on Friday night, leaving homes without power as electric crews were forced to end efforts due to unsafe conditions for linemen.

The Otero County Electric Cooperative, which serves thousands of families in New Mexico, announced on Saturday night that it was calling off restoration efforts.

'Trees are breaking off due to the heavy snow load and still falling on the line creating a very dangerous situation for crews,' the company wrote on social media.

'They will begin restoration efforts again in the morning, provided it is safe for them to do so.'

Otero apologized to customers waiting for power restoration, but asked for understanding so they can protect their employees. 

The historic weather event will see 220 million people living in a 2,000 mile swathe of the United States endure thick ice, inches of snow and frigid weather.

Snow and rain hit parts of the Ohio Valley and the Great Plains on Saturday. The East Coast is next in Fern's path of destruction, with temperatures already plummeting to sub-freezing degrees.

More than 14,000 flights have been canceled for Sunday - the biggest day of travel chaos since the COVID pandemic.

A Minneapolis man who calls himself “Antifa” urged his nearly 36,000 Instagram followers to “get your bleep guns” and “stop” federal law enforcement, after a Border Patrol agent fatally shot an armed man in his city.

Kyle Wagner, a self-described “entrepreneur” and “master-hate-baiter,” posted a series of videos to social media appearing to encourage armed and explicitly non-peaceful demonstrations against federal agents, whom he referred to as “Nazi gunmen.” The far-left influencer uploaded the videos in the immediate aftermath of the day’s fatal shooting, which the Department of Homeland Security (DHS) claimed targeted a suspect who looked ready to “massacre law enforcement.” Chaotic riots subsequently erupted on the streets of Minneapolis.

“My name is Kyle, I’m Antifa, and there’s so much rage in me, I’ve had to record this like fifteen times trying to get the message out,” Wagner addressed the camera in one video posted to Instagram. “They bleep up.”

“It’s time to suit up, boots on the ground … show up ready to go,” he said, later noting he was specifically “talking specifically to my bleep followers.”

“No, not talking about peaceful protests anymore. A federal judge in Minnesota has blocked the Trump administration from "destroying or altering evidence" related to a deadly shooting involving a Border Patrol agent in Minneapolis on Saturday.

The ruling came after the Hennepin County Attorney’s Office and the Bureau of Criminal Apprehension filed a lawsuit Saturday to prevent the destruction of evidence in the shooting death of Alex Pretti, a 37-year-old Minneapolis resident killed by a Border Patrol agent during an immigration enforcement operation.

According to the Department of Homeland Security (DHS), Pretti approached Border Patrol agents armed with a 9 mm pistol and "violently resisted" when they attempted to disarm him.

The lawsuit, filed in the U.S. District Court for the District of Minnesota, names DHS, Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE), Customs and Border Patrol (CBP) and U.S. Border Control, as well as Attorney General Pam Bondi, as defendants.

 released an inflammatory video filled with lies and told people to increase their confrontations with federal agents. He suggested they do this by following them and recording.

Alex Pretti did that. He stalked the agents and stood in the road while unlawfully carrying a firearm and a lot of extra ammunition. He then became physical, leading to a scuffle and him being shot dead.

I'm wondering if this guy had some sort of "death by cop" wish. His parents reportedly urged him not to go to the protest and not to engage LE. But he went anyway, with a concealed loaded pistol and a full spare magazine, and (apparently) not even any documentation to establish he had a concealed carry permit, had the cops had an opportunity to ask.

He also supposedly wiped clean his social media accounts before he left. Was he hoping and planning to get into a violent confrontation and go out with a bang? Obviously, the videos won't tell us what was in his mind, and we may never find out.

Was it a bad idea for Pretti to actively engage law enforcement while he was carrying? yes!, though from the video I've seen the only contact he made with a Border Patrol agent was a momentary hand on the agent's shoulder after the agent had pushed another protester to the ground. Pretti was then maced and taken to the ground by multiple agents, and was shot seconds later.
