They aren't countering with viable and well thought out policy alternatives, just that envy soaked attitude of we didn't win so we're going to break things until we get our way.
I guess it is hard for gimmiecrats to deal with their gravy train getting derailed, all the things they sold their political (and maybe actual) souls for being audited, shut down, or reduced (there goes the new whatever), including a carefully constructed framework to gain and retain power and make the taxpayers pick up the tab.
