Minnesota Gov Walz invites Trump to visit state to 'see our values in action' after ICE feud
The governor's invitation came as he and other Minnesota Democratic officials were served grand jury subpoenas over ICE operations

Minnesota Gov. Tim Walz on Tuesday invited President Donald Trump to visit the state to "see our values in action" amid a contentious back-and-forth between the pair over the presence of federal immigration officers in and around Minneapolis.

"Mr. President, Minnesota invites you to see our values in action," a statement from Walz reads on X. "Come see how communities from all walks of life are working together, and how the spirit of this state refuses to be defined by division of fear."

"I invite you to join me, and others in our community to help restore calm and order and reaffirm that true public safety comes from shared purpose, trust and respect," he added.

The invitation came as federal officers continue to conduct operations targeting criminal illegal immigrants amid clashes with agitators that authorities said impede the apprehension of illegal immigrants convicted of various crimes, including murder and child sexual abuse.

Walz, as well as Minneapolis Mayor Jacob Frey and other local Democratic officials, have condemned the enforcement operations and have called for Trump to withdraw federal authorities.

The governor's invitation is a sharp change of tone from his past remarks, in which he has said U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) officers have acted uncontrollably and that the enforcement surge is "a war that's being waged against Minnesota."

"You're seeing that we have a ridiculous surge of apparently 2,000 people not coordinating with us, that are for a show of cameras," Walz told reporters in Minneapolis earlier this month, a day after announcing he was ending his campaign for a third term.

Walz previously asked Trump to "turn the temperature down" following a warning from the president that he could invoke the Insurrection Act over unrest in Minnesota. The White House accused him of engaging in rhetoric while protecting criminal illegal immigrants.

ICE, the Border Patrol and other federal LE are efficiently and peacefully engaged in the lawful conduct of their deportation mission in all U.S. states save one.

Minnesota.

Why is this process peaceful everywhere but Minnesota?

First, because state and local Democrat officials have directed their state and local LE to not assist the feds in this mission.

"But wait, CP," you may cry, "there are other places across the nation where the Democrats will not assist!"

That's true.  But my second and third points below are the difference.

Second, Minnesota’s state and local Democrat officials are ACTIVELY ENCOURAGING useful idiot Democrat minions to commit felonies by interfering with the lawful conduct of ICE/BP operations.

Finally—and this is really the most important thing to consider—Minnesota created the Beatification of Saint George Floyd and then burned down its cities in a summer of rage designed to win a national election.  It’s no coincidence that Minnesota is now a repeat offender—the state possesses a tightly organized group of NGOs, "non-profits,” and civil disobedience organizations bound together by a highly sophisticated web of complex communications systems, engaged in a literal conspiracy to thwart America’s laws and extort voters by promising an end to violence only when their side is elected.

AND THAT CONSPIRACY WORKS HAND-IN-HAND WITH MINNESOTA’S GOVERNING DEMOCRATS.

So, to recap, why is Minnesota different?  Again, three reasons:

1. State and local Democrat officials are directing state and local LE to not assist federal LE, a practice unlike most of the rest of the nation;

2. State and local Democrat officials are actively encouraging their citizens to feloniously interfere with federal law enforcement;

AND (most importantly)

3. State and local Democrat officials are actively engaged with a huge criminal conspiracy that organizes and executes a wide variety of unlawful, terroristic actions designed to thwart federal LE enforcement in the lawful conduct of its mission.

This means Minnesota itself is one giant RICO criminal conspiracy that makes the Mafia look poorly organized in comparison.

P.S.: As an added bonus, Minnesota’s state and local Democrat officials are desperately hoping they can create the conditions where one or more of their useful idiots are murdered by ICE without cause.  However, they are OK with those useful idiots being gun downed by ICE WITH cause, it’s almost as good in their eyes.  The more dead useful idiots, the better.

I can. Funding had to come from somewhere, and with billions flowing through fraud networks in the state, it could be channeled back through Act Blue and NGOs to the campaign coffers.
