That is an issue to be explored, but the magistrate was entitled to take into account the issue of whether his first amendment rights constituted an affirmative defense.

🚨 UPDATE: Judge Grants Release to Nekima Levy Armstrong & Chauntyll Allen, Feds Appeal to Keep Them Detained
A federal judge granted release under conditions for civil rights attorney Nekima Levy Armstrong and St. Paul School Board member Chauntyll Allen after their arrests tied to the Cities Church protest in St. Paul, but federal prosecutors immediately appealed, meaning both are still being held while that appeal moves forward. A detention hearing is expected Friday.

An activist judge wasted little time in freeing left-wing agitators Nekima Levy Armstrong and Chauntyll Allen, who were arrested for their role in last weekend’s storming of a Christian church in Minneapolis during worship services.

The two were taken into custody on Thursday, but US District Judge Laura Provinzino, who was appointed by disgraced ex-President Joe Biden, put them right back out on the streets the very next day with Armstrong wasting no time in running to CNN, predictably playing the race card to portray herself as the victim who is only being persecuted because she’s a black woman.

During her appearance on Friday’s edition of “OutFront” with Erin Burnett, Armstrong denied that the activists intended to prevent anyone from practicing their religion and insisted that the protest was peaceful, despite video evidence showing the harassment of worshippers, including children.

Would these judges tolerate Don Lemon and these mobs barging into their courtrooms in the middle of a trial?  Would these judges approvingly declare it’s their 1st amendment right to disrupt the court proceedings?  These judges are pathetic, shameless hack lawyers in black robes.  And what of the so-called media that give them cover. Is it ok to barge into so-called newsrooms and do the same thing?  What do you say, judges and “journalists?”

MSNOW’s Nicolle Wallace called the Cities Church protest “An act of historic bravery." I do not recall Wallace heralding the "historic bravery" of pro-life protests at abortion clinics charged under the FACE Act. Of course, nothing says bravery like disrupting religious services.
