George Floyd Redux: Renee Good › American Greatness
Laurie Higgins

As the whole country knows, a trained leftist agitator was killed by an ICE agent when she intentionally and illegally impeded a legal law enforcement operation. And so, the leftist spinning begins.

Renee Nicole Macklin Good, a 37-year-old mother of three, decided to park her car diagonally in the middle of a street to prevent ICE agents from legally arresting immigration scofflaws. She refused to comply with repeated orders to vacate her vehicle and then drove toward or into an ICE agent. Justifiably believing that Good posed a significant threat of death or serious injury to himself or other officers, he shot and killed Good.

According to attorney and National Review writer Andrew C. McCarthy, “[E]ven if the woman was mainly trying to get away … she was engaged in an actionable assault on a federal officer, a felony under Section 111 of the federal penal code.”

But AOC, a reliable opponent of truth and law enforcement, said to reporters, “At the end of the day, what we saw today is a murder. And murders in cold blood need to be prosecuted.”

AOC’s fellow squad member Ayanna Pressley called the killing a “murder.”

Notice how conservatives always assume deadly force is justified, while liberals assume the police are malicious.  The cases are dissimilar.

I didn't assume. I did watch multiple videos from different angles and that led me to the conclusion that the shooting was justified. It is sad that she floored the vehicle while it was pointed at him, and I must note that she would be alive today if she had shut it off and gotten out as ordered, instead of flooring it.
One view shows the bullet hole in the windshield, and for a right handed shooter to shoot the driver through the windshield, they have to be in front of the vehicle.
But then, had she not gone all 'social justice warrior' and interfered with an immigration enforcement action in the first place, none of that would have happened.

The results are tragic, but are the result of a series of poor choices.

As a result of misreporting on the incident, the agent involved (who had been dragged 300 ft. in an incident last June, requiring 37 stitches and acquiring a lot of 'road rash') has had to move his family because of death threats to him and his wife and kids (yes, even the kids).

Seventeen Techniques for Truth Suppression

Of all tyrannies, a tyranny sincerely exercised for the good of its victims may be the most oppressive. It would be better to live under robber barons than under omnipotent moral busybodies. The robber baron's cruelty may sometimes sleep, his cupidity may at some point be satiated; but those who torment us for our own good will torment us without end for they do so with the approval of their own conscience.

Neither complied with law enforcement's instructions.  Non-compliance with officers' instructions is an escalation of the situation.

The difference between this and the Saint George riots is there are no blacks involved.

That's not the only difference.

This time, the Leftists don't control the Federal Government, and the important relevant agencies like the DOJ and FBI. That helps to control the flow of evidence, and the resulting message.

The other important difference is that this time, Leftists don't dominate social media, which was effectively used last time to push lies ... Elon musk now owns X (aka Twitter),  and he has helped to make sure ALL the relevant info got out, including info the Left didn't want the Public to ever watch. You can see the Leftists still lamely trying to push selectively-edited videos and a false narrative ("It was a murder!"), but X has helped to get the real truth out, which stopped that dis-information in its tracks.

No wonder the Leftists and their Media pals are angry and frustrated ... they had a crisis and couldn't exploit it!

The shooting of Renee Good was a righteous shooting.  The federal government should file criminal charges against her, for she committed multiple felonies with her attack upon the ICE agent.  Her being found guilty of multiple felonies would end this nonsense.

You can bet if there are any insurance monies to be claimed with her death, the insurance company/companies will not pay a dime because she died committing felonies.

If you watch the video Liz Wheeler has out on Youtube, and it includes all the video taken that day, it clearly shows her hitting the agent.  One can clearly hear the thump of her car against his body.
