21-year-old Javen Conner has been handed a prison sentence of over six decades for his involvement in the shooting of three homes, which tragically resulted in the death of a 12-year-old girl who was asleep in her bed. The shooting was carried out as an act of retaliation over a social media post.

As reported by the Dayton Daily News, Conner, hailing from Ohio, was sentenced on Thursday to 64 years to life in prison for the murder of seventh grader Isabella Carlos.

The crime was committed alongside his 24-year-old accomplice Antawan Benson, who was also found guilty last month in a separate trial involving his brother. The charges leveled against both men included murder, discharging a firearm into a habitation, felonious assault, and aggravated menacing.
