 Protests planned nationwide after Minneapolis, Portland shootings

A wave of protests is slated to take place on Saturday across the U.S. in the wake of shootings this week involving federal authorities in Minneapolis and Portland, Ore.

Demonstrations are planned in those two cities as well as in Texas, New Mexico, Ohio, Florida and other states.

The group of organizers is being led by Indivisible, a social movement that’s focused on pushing back on the Trump administration. 

“This weekend, people across the country are coming together to grieve, honor those we’ve lost, and demand accountability from a system that has operated with impunity for far too long,” Leah Greenberg, co-executive director of Indivisible, wrote in a statement.

“ICE’s violence is not a statistic, it has names, families, and futures attached to it, and we refuse to look away or stay silent,” she added.

Their demonstration is being backed by another protest group, 50501, and the American Civil Liberties Union (ACLU).

The groups say their goal is to “demand accountability, transparency, and an immediate investigation” into the death of Renee Good, “build public pressure” on elected officials and federal agencies and remove ICE from local communities. Their Saturday demonstrations follow a series of national protests against the Trump administration last year.

The Federal Bureau of Investigation is conducting a criminal investigation into the organizers and funders of anti-ICE protests, according to an exchange between Eric Bolling and investigative journalist John Solomon, who said recent statements from FBI Director Kash Patel mark a significant shift in how federal authorities view protest activity that interferes with law enforcement.

During the exchange, Bolling asked Solomon to clarify what Patel had disclosed earlier in the day regarding the protests.

“Kash Patel told you what today?” Bolling asked.

Solomon responded by outlining what he said the FBI director confirmed about the scope and purpose of the investigation.

“Yeah, that the FBI does, in fact, have a criminal investigation into the organizers and funders of these anti ICE protests,” Solomon said.

Solomon said Patel made clear that protest activity resulting in interference with Immigration and Customs Enforcement operations could expose organizers to serious criminal charges.

Water cannons with colored dye so it's easier to identify and round up agitators.

Spray them with skunk spray so law enforcement can smell them from a while away.

Spray them with aerosolized ipecac to induce mass vomiting amongst the agitators.

You mess with the bull ... your soaked clothes are funky colors, you smell like a skunk, and you puke your guts out.  Instant punishment without a pesky liberal judge to let them off easy.
