The campaign promised a perp walk parade. Thunder and lightning. Justice served hot. High profile heads dragged into court. Accountability for a decade of lawless mischief. Instead, we are squinting at empty DOJ corridors, straining for movement that never comes.

Somewhere inside the Department of Justice, Pam Bondi is hiding behind a ficus plant. Striped shirt on. Red beanie pulled low. Peeking out at the chaos she promised to tame.

Where’s Bondi?

Rallies screamed accountability now. The base wanted prosecutions yesterday. They were sold a vision of an Attorney General who would storm the corridors of power with a sledgehammer and a list, dragging the corrupt into public shame. What arrived instead were policy memos, personnel reshuffles, and a bureaucratic silence that echoes louder than any rally chant ever could.

The promised thunder turned out to be paperclips.

Bondi is where I expected her to be, hiding from a mob.  I knew she was fatally weak when she decided to overrule her own prosecutors to go after George Zimmerman to placate the mob calling out for vengeance against a man who was simply defending his own life from a thug who tried to take his gun and shoot him.

She has made a whole lot of noise making different promises about bringing people to justice.  She hasn't come through.

I don't care where Bondi is as she is so ineffective and incompetent she has become irrelevant.  What does matter is Trump insists on keeping her on.  That in itself at this point is more troubling and concerning then her whereabouts.

Well something is up and right now Trump's selection of Bondi reflects very poorly on him, especially with his promise to drain the swamp.  Bondi is bought and paid for, but who bought her?  Could she possibly be playing both sides??
