In high school many of us band member in the early to mid '70's had this admiration for the likes of BS & T, Ides of March, and Chicago as a genre.
Personally, I was in the Chicago camp as far preferences.  So much so, I pretty much learned every James Pankow part for the first 6 albums.

They lost a founding member as well this week.

The meds might be why.

Seventeen Techniques for Truth Suppression

Of all tyrannies, a tyranny sincerely exercised for the good of its victims may be the most oppressive. It would be better to live under robber barons than under omnipotent moral busybodies. The robber baron's cruelty may sometimes sleep, his cupidity may at some point be satiated; but those who torment us for our own good will torment us without end for they do so with the approval of their own conscience.

Lets go all out and add Emmerson, Lake , and Palmer.
