The libs/dems of today are the Quislings of former years. The cowards who would vote a fraud into office in exchange for handouts from the devil.

Well, it is Black History Month.
It is, now.  :silly:
"If all men are created equal, that is final. If they are endowed with inalienable rights, that is final. If governments derive their just powers from the consent of the governed, that is final. No advance, no progress can be made beyond these propositions. If anyone wishes to deny their truth or their soundness, the only direction in which he can proceed historically is not forward, but backward toward the time when there was no equality, no rights of the individual, no rule of the people."    -Calvin Coolidge

Some years ago, I boarded a flight from O’Hare to Dallas with the Reverend. It was in the secure area so he had only one other person with him. Also on the flight was John Sununu who was traveling alone.

I've also heard he was pretty conservative. Godspeed sir.

Jackson (and Sharpton) had the opportunity to heal race relations. They chose to capitalize on it for their own gain.

Got my recent Robert Duval "fix" on OPEN RANGE, with Kevin Costner and Annette Bening.

"Open Range" was another great movie .... Duvall didn't play in any movie that I can think of that wasn't worth watching.

I decided to find a Duvall movie I had not seen in his honor. Picked "Get Low" of which I had never heard. It was a slow burn movie, a little too slow, but I enjoyed it. Story of an old hermit with a bad reputation that had a sin that haunted him that he needed to confess before he died.

Someone who went to the same university as I posted this on a Facebook alumni page:
Quote
I see in the news today that the Rev. Jesse Jackson passed away.  I recall that he was one of the speakers when I graduated in late April 1978.  At that time he was a prolife preacher.  Disappointingly he became pro choice when he decided to run for president in the 1980s.
It's kind of the Democrat way, isn't it, to hold one belief one moment and then turn 180 degrees at a moment's notice?

Another 1980s iconic "bad guy" has passed too!

Tom Noonan, ‘Manhunter’ Villain and ‘RoboCop 2’ Star, Dies at 74

https://variety.com/2026/film/obituaries-people-news/tom-noonan-dead-manhunter-robocop-2-1236666447/

Quote
Tom Noonan, an actor and director whose imposing presence made him one of Hollywood’s most memorable screen villains, died on Feb. 14. He was 74.

His death was announced online by actress Karen Sillas, a longtime friend and collaborator, and Fred Dekker, who directed Noonan in “The Monster Squad.” Variety has also reached out to Noonan’s representatives. No cause of death was immediately disclosed.

Often described by fans and filmmakers as the “perfect bad guy,” Noonan carved out a singular career playing outsiders, monsters and deeply unsettling antagonists. He was best known for portraying the serial killer Francis Dollarhyde in “Manhunter,” director Michael Mann’s adaptation of Thomas Harris’ novel “Red Dragon.” He later embraced cult status as Cain, the drug-fueled cult leader who becomes the mechanized villain RoboCain in “RoboCop 2.”

Spot on. JJ could have been a leader, but being a misleader got him more celebrity and was more remunerative.

I don't know whether Sharp Al ever started out good before going ... let's just say that the Crown Heights Riot and arson he incited were a long time ago.

I remember him fondly speaking about a grade school teacher that outright refused to allow students to speak in "Ebonics".
As soon as other "Leaders" came out in favor of Ebonics he changed his tune.

Agreed. Very similar to referring to Bill Cosby as 'doctor'.
