Boasberg orders return of deported illegal alien gang thugs

A U.S. district judge facing calls for impeachment and arrest issued another America Last ruling in favor of alleged international gang members to “satisfy the requirements of due process.”
In the category of promises made, promises kept, President Donald Trump’s administration has worked throughout the year to remove hundreds of thousands of illegal aliens, including those said to have ties to violent gangs like Tren de Aragua (TdA). Now, months after alleged members of the Venezuelan gang, deemed a foreign terrorist organization, have been conveyed back to their homeland, U.S. District Court Judge James Boasberg has ordered them returned by the beginning of next year.
“The Court finds that the only remedy that would give effect to its granting of Plaintiffs’ Motion would be to order the Government to undo the effects of their unlawful removal by facilitating a meaningful opportunity to contest their designation and the Proclamation’s validity,” wrote Boasberg in the memorandum opinion issued Monday. “Otherwise, a finding of unlawful removal would be meaningless for Plaintiffs, who have already been sent back to Venezuela against their wishes and without due process.”
Counted among the plaintiffs were more than half of the roughly 250 Venezuelan nationals accused of ties to TdA that were deported to El Salvador’s Centro de Confinamiento del Terrorismo (CECOT) prison earlier in the year.
