Deadly date in Georgia: 'Swingers' meetup ends in murder, suspect captured

A meetup arranged on an adults-only website turned lethal late last month, leaving one man dead and another facing murder charges.
Investigators say the fatal encounter began online. A woman and her boyfriend connected with another man on a "swingers" dating platform and agreed to meet in person. That meeting, scheduled for the early morning hours of November 29, ended in gunfire.
Around 5 a.m., police received a frantic call from the woman. She told dispatchers she was driving her boyfriend to the hospital after he had been shot. First responders intercepted the vehicle en route to provide emergency aid, but the victim’s injuries proved too severe; he died shortly after.
