Thanks to promiscuous use of the autopen, some actions taken in former President Joe Biden’s name might qualify as illegitimate.

Of course, some of us believe, for well-established reasons, that Biden never had legitimacy as president. But that is a different discussion.

On Tuesday in Mount Pocono, PA — the first stop in his rally-style affordability messaging tour — President Donald Trump interrupted his denunciation of “lousy” Federal Reserve Chair Jerome Powell to inform the audience that Biden’s autopen might have signed commissions for four Democrat members of the Federal Reserve Board, including Powell.

Trump won't like this either.  Is the Labor Department under pressure to fudge the numbers?

Funny how Powell wasn't so concerned about that when Biden was prez. Maybe he's just trying to equivocate.

Remind me again who appointed Powell as Fed Chair?

Trump Taps Jerome Powell As Next Fed Chair In Call For Continuity

Lauren Debter  |  Nov 02, 2017  |  05:13pm EDT

President Trump named Jerome Powell, a former investment banker and private equity executive, as the next chair of the Federal Reserve on Thursday. Powell is widely seen as a known quantity who will lead the central bank in a similar manner as his predecessor Janet Yellen at a time when stocks have reached record highs and unemployment has fallen.

Trump made the announcement from the White House and put to end months of speculation over a change in leadership at the Fed. If Powell is confirmed by the Senate, he will replace current Fed chairwoman Yellen when her four-year term ends in February 2018.

"If we are to sustain all this tremendous economic growth, our economy requires sound monetary policy and prudent federal oversight over the banking system," said Trump. "That's why we need strong, sound and steady leadership at the U.S. Federal Reserve."  .  .  .

If a political party does not have its foundation in the determination to advance a cause that is right and that is moral, then it is not a political party; it is merely a conspiracy to seize power.     -Dwight Eisenhower-

"The [U.S.] Constitution is a limitation on the government, not on private individuals ... it does not prescribe the conduct of private individuals, only the conduct of the government ... it is not a charter for government power, but a charter of the citizen's protection against the government."     -Ayn Rand-

Obviously, Trump wants to keep his DOJ/FBI in disarray.  After keeping James Comey around for awhile he appoints Christopher Wray and appoints Barr as Sessions replacement as AG.

Blondie and Kash~I rest my case.

Trump is much more filtered than his first term.
