A teenage male is facing a slew of felony charges, including murder and attempted murder, stemming from a high-speed collision that he caused intentionally in Nevada last month, prosecutors allege.
The horrifying 12-car crash, which led to the deaths of three adults and an unborn baby, unfolded on Nov. 18 in Las Vegas.
Jose Gutierrez, 19, was driving his girlfriend, 20-year-old Adilene Duran-Rincon, when he suddenly accelerated to more than 70 mph and slammed into cars that had stopped or slowed at a busy intersection, according to court documents reviewed by 8 News Now.
Duran-Rincon was reportedly 11 weeks pregnant at the time of the crash. Both she and the child were killed, along with another driver identified as 38-year-old Edward Garcia.
