The US city where stealing goes unpunished

In one major U.S. city, theft laws have lost their teeth. After local leaders raised the minimum amount for felony charges and prosecutors began dropping minor cases, shoplifting exploded. Many stores closed, citing losses and safety concerns. Critics call it “legalized theft,” while officials insist they’re focusing on violent crime instead.

Too many cites to list, evidently.

I look at cities now as the heat sink equivalent for stupidity, and it's not going to change till people stop voting Rat.

Which is why I also refuse to go to major population centers if at all possible. At this point you're just gambling that nothing is going to happen to you today.
The Republic is lost.

Actually, unpunished needs to be defined, legally no not so much, but everyone other than thieves are punished when more and more retailers of all types pack up…what’s left and flee to safer business venues and take the jobs with them too.

You have to watch the video to find out for sure.  I watched the beginning of it and yes, it's San Fransicko.

Well you actually have choice up the Pacific coast, there’s Portland and Seattle, just to name three. But I am sure you could find other cities in most of the states were the same holds true, are you blue?
