MTG thrills her new fans, shivs Trump on ’60 Minutes’

CBS News’ attempt to “shock” with an alleged inside scoop on Capitol Hill Republicans from Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene was instead received as validation of her nickname from the president.
Ahead of the Thanksgiving holiday, a Friday night news dump found the Georgia Republican abruptly announcing her resignation effective January after weeks of publicly appearing at odds with President Donald Trump. Sunday, her first interview in the wake of the planned departure, premiered on CBS News’ “60 Minutes,” and the politician’s assertions found many agreeing with Trump’s “traitor” moniker.
A clip pulled from near the end of the aired segment teased the interview by calling out unnamed members of the GOP who’d gone from mocking the president to “kissing his a**” as Stahl said, “I’m gonna ask you about this almost solid support [Trump] has among Republicans in Congress. Is there, in that support, fear? Does the support come about because they’re afraid they’ll get death threats?”
“I think they’re terrified to step outta line and get a nasty Truth Social post on them. Yes,” responded Greene before she affirmed, “And they’re watching what happened to you,” and, “Behind the scenes, do they talk differently?”
After the congresswoman expressed, “Oh, it’s, it would shock people,” in response to the journalist asking, “How?” Stahl went on to suggest, “Well, let’s shock people.”
