One dead American solider — and one obvious policy to prevent the next atrocity.
Fr. Brendan Kilcoyne is one of the few priests in Ireland with the courage to say what others won’t.

Week after week, he tells the truth that the rest of public life tiptoes around: Ireland, like Britain and much of the West, is being reshaped by two forces at once — an aggressively secular culture that mocks belief, and a rising influx of people whose values come from religious traditions deeply at odds with Christianity.

This is the part the West refuses to face: A culture without God doesn’t stay neutral.

Both currents weaken what remains of Ireland’s Christian foundations. One breaks it down. The other builds something else in its place.

Kilcoyne doesn’t simply call for “legal immigration” — the safe line politicians repeat to sound reasonable — but he goes farther.

One of my favorite member screen shots is often from our Founder.

There are good reasons that our ancestors in the second and third century of the last millennium  obsessively fought Islam.  Our religions are not compatible. Their founding principals are to destroy infidels.   L'est not forget that it took nearly 800 years to get them out of Spain.  This time it isn't by sword and pike, it's by creep.

Other people and whole political parties in Europe have been saying this, for instance Geert Wilders and his PVV in the Netherlands and AfD in Germany.  The main result is that the European media in lock-step with the Eurocrats in Brussels and the squishes of every political party who inhabit Whitehall, promptly tar them as "far-right".  Somehow regarding immigration of adherents of a Jew-hating religion prone to violence  as a bad thing is supposedly equivalent to Naziism.

So, cue denunciations of Fr. Brendan as a "far-right extremist out of step with European values".

I've been posting in this forum since I was first a member here that the ONLY political parties in Western Europe that will save their countries are those of the far right. They're the only ones who are willing to call the enemy for what it is, and the only ones that, once in power, might do something to stop islam's advance there.

Unfortunately, by the time the [formerly Christian] Western Europeans realize this, it may have become too late for even the far right to counter advancing islam.

Of one thing I'm sure:
To win, it's gonna take guys marching in spiffy uniforms with tall shiny boots, who exhibit strong "nationalistic" tendencies.

Otherwise, Euros will be ordering burqhas by the boxcar load.

Sadly, I think you are spot on.

Unfortunately, the Westeern Europeans, such as they are, do not realize there are ultimately only two groups involved.
Those who are Muslim, and those who are not.

Those who are not better get their sh*t together and realize what is the existential threat.

Unfortunately those here in the U.S. need to take a hard look as to what has happened in NYC, Deaborn, MI, Minneapolis, MN -- the same existential threat is upon us.  IF not taken care of politically and lawfully, I am afraid we are going to have the biggest fight in history on our hands.  Once they completely side-step our Constitution and local laws, it's everyone for themselves.
