I've watched this and other videos on this DC. If and when they achieve a stable quantum system, passwords are useless. Encryption is useless, firewalls are useless, all other kinds of tech security are useless unless they are air gapped, and even that won't last forever.

I can't speak to the tech side of it beyond that, but from the financial side everything will be burnt to the ground.

All I can say is keep your eye on Google Willow, and think Amish.

LOL!

Suddenly I'm pissed that I let that IBM SelectricII typewriter get away this past Summer.

Manual Smith-Carona type-writer, no electricity needed.

Thought provoking, but not new.  Everyt totalitarian regime wants a world without secrets, without individual rights, and without God.

Totalitarian regimes would want to eliminate non-electronic means of storing and transfering wealth such as cash, precious metals, or anything else that could be used as currency.

Totalitarianism has no concept of 'privacy'.  Everything and everyone is property of the state.  Their thoughts are property of the state.  God must be killed so Government can claim it created man.  Government enthrones itself as the absolute power in the universe.  Government makes itself the Creator.

What was with the aluminum foil hat over the fishbowl?  Was that to block Government satellites from infiltrating his mind?  A lot of that in the 1970s.  Cold War, good times for paranoid nuts who may have been right.
