This event was part of a global series of terrorist-linked demonstrations marking Al-Quds Day, which was established in 1979 by Iran’s Ayatollah Khomeini.A video captured a large crowd of attendees, primarily Muslim protesters, repeatedly chanting “Death to America” and “Death to Israel.”The chants were led by an unidentified man in the crowd holding a microphone, with a large group echoing in unison for several minutes amid green flags and a festive atmosphere. Organizers later claimed in a Facebook statement that the individual initiating the “Death to America” chant was “not affiliated” with the event and described it as “wrongful.”The protest is back under the microscope following Wednesday’s terrorist attack in downtown Washington D.C., as well as a recent incident in the city where mobs of residents attacked a right-wing activist who attempted to burn a Quran in a freedom of expression protest.Statements from Rep.
