Newly released video shows the moment runaway “Slender Man” stabber Morgan Geyser was finally found by cops — with her main worry being torn from her older transgender accomplice because she “did something wrong.”

Body-cam footage shows Geyser, 23, scared to identify herself to cops who stopped her and her bestie, Chad “Charly” Mecca, 43, at a truck stop in Posen, Ill. Sunday night, a day after she fled her care home more than 150 miles away in Wisconsin.

“I did something wrong, she didn’t,” Geyser says of Mecca, whom police called “he.”

...  The man who was with Geyser at the time of her apprehension, Chad Mecca, was identified in a police report obtained by CNN affiliate WTMJ. Mecca told police, according to the report, the two had met through a church.

He is facing charges of criminal trespass and obstructing identification and has been “released on a citation and notice form,” with a court date scheduled for January, according to the report.  ...
