What Does The Republican Party Even Stand For?

What Does The Republican Party Even Stand For?
Shawn Fleetwood

On Friday, the GOP-controlled House of Representatives did what many thought was unthinkable. In what can only be described as a stunning act of bravery, these bold Republicans — wait for it — passed a resolution that condemns socialism.

Yes, you read that correctly. While Americans continue to grapple with high costs of living and an increasingly broken health care system — both products of reckless government intervention — your Republican House majority decided to expend what little “low t” energy it has on a useless resolution that basically says, “SOCIALISM IS BAD!”

The entire charade was like watching Olivia Nuzzi try to dish out marital advice. Consider that many of the same Republicans who enthusiastically voted to condemn socialism have had no problem bankrolling Obamacare, fraud-ridden welfare programs like SNAP, and every wallet-sucking entitlement program under the sun — all with zero intention of reforming or gutting any of them.

It’s as ironic as it is comical.

The Republicans don't realize they don't have 80 Million supporters, Donald Trump does.

The game hadn't changed much in 50 years: the Democrats pretended to support capitalism, while the Republicans pretended to oppose socialism.

Now that the Democrats openly endorse socialism, the Republicans can't figure out how to explain to the public why capitalism is superior.
"If all men are created equal, that is final. If they are endowed with inalienable rights, that is final. If governments derive their just powers from the consent of the governed, that is final. No advance, no progress can be made beyond these propositions. If anyone wishes to deny their truth or their soundness, the only direction in which he can proceed historically is not forward, but backward toward the time when there was no equality, no rights of the individual, no rule of the people."    -Calvin Coolidge

Fortunately we have scores of people who can...provided the Republicans don't fight us with their usual vigor!

Democrat-lite
If a political party does not have its foundation in the determination to advance a cause that is right and that is moral, then it is not a political party; it is merely a conspiracy to seize power.     -Dwight Eisenhower-

"The [U.S.] Constitution is a limitation on the government, not on private individuals ... it does not prescribe the conduct of private individuals, only the conduct of the government ... it is not a charter for government power, but a charter of the citizen's protection against the government."     -Ayn Rand-

The UGLY TRUTH is that 1/3, perhaps 1/2 of Congress are globalists.  President Trump is the fly in the ointment.  The globalists haven't gone away, they have simply tabled their intentions until such time President Trump is no longer stirring the pot.

The globalists will pick back up with their plans for global domination of most economies throughout the world, basically enslaving the majority of humanity to abide by their totalitarian rules when they get established.  I see nothing standing in the way but Trump, and he will not live forever.  He has 3 years left, and that is only if the Dems remain in the moinority come November, 2026.  And as dumb as America has become, I say that is a long shot.

I have said repeatedly on these boards we are marching our way to becoming EXACTLY LIKE RUSSIA with each passing year.  I see the parallels.  I have traveled to Russia and seen first hand how life is there, and I am always amazed at the actions taken here to make us more like Russia.  And now, the Democommies are no longer hiding their affection for communism, they are openly embracing it.  When Rep Hakeem Jeffries, a leader of the Democommie Party endorses an avowed and open communist like Mamdani, the day of our becoming Russia 2.0 is here.

I say the republic died with the fixed election of 2020.  And no one has taken any action to correct the weaknesses in our system to prevent it from happening again.  Fixed elections will be as commonplace in the USA as they are in Russia.  You think Putin actually won the elections every time for 25 years?   Right!

Our society is being taken apart piecemeal, the murder of our most vulnerable, the unborn.  The murder of mostly older people with euthanasia.  Both of my parents were euthanized, 1995 and 2001.  It is called COMFORT MEASURES, and they may or may not tell the patient and/or family they are launching into COMFORT MEASURES.  Now, they want to kill newborns that are not perfect at birth.  Watch for that to get adopted in liberal bastions like New York.

And if it is not out right murdering humans in our society, it is the targeted effort to sterilize as many in our society as can be convinced.  The transgender movement is pure evil, and criminal in my mind.  Convincing children ages 5 - 18 that they are the opposite gender when most of them really do not have a clue what they want out of life, and almost all are not considering the importance of their fertility until it is too late and the damage done to their body is irreversible.  Ah yes, let us count the ways to destroy our society.

There is no Republican Party.  There is only the Uniparty.  Both sides maintain the pretense they are different when reality and the UGLY TRUTH is that they are peas out of the same pod.  If we did have a true conservative political party, we would have more balanced budgets than the few years in the 90s when Newt Gingrich ran the House for the Republicans.

And look what we have now!  These clowns put last year's budget that started October 1, 2024 together in July, 2025.  The fiscal year was almost over when they got a budget done.   We have to be the laughing stock of the civilized world.  And, once again, they are well on their way of doing the same for this budget year.

I know, let's put a rule in place that the budget must be completed and approved in Congress by September 1, one month before the start of the budget year, and failure to do so results in all members of Congress being forced to face election for their seats.  You want to see productivity in Congress like you have never seen before, put that rule in place.

CONGRESS IS NON-FUNCTIONAL BECAUSE THEY FOLLOW AN ABDICATIVE STYLE OF MANAGEMENT.  ONE OF THE *SSHOLE LAWYERS I WORKED FOR IN YEARS PAST WHO WAS A SENIOR VP SAID, I NEVER MAKE A DECISION UNTIL I AM LEFT WITH AS FEW OPTIONS AS POSSIBLE.  Can you imagine?

So, if they make no decisions, they can not be faulted for their wrongdoing.  Congress is completely abdicative, and they no longer serve the American people.  Haven't for a long time.

It is not possible to have a 2nd revolution in the USA, the govenment would squash any attempt like the sole of a shoe landing on a bug, so the only approach to creating change is TERM LIMITS!!!! Perhaps fresh blood, and no politicians like Pelosi who spent an entire life in Congress focused almost solely on insider trading to become filthy rich would occur as blatantly as she did in her years there.

Everything in Washington is corrupted.  Everything, and it is all controlled by lawyers.  They are lucky to get the correct shoe on each foot in the morning.

"There is no Republican Party.  There is only the Uniparty."  Truth.
