Why young Americans support democratic socialism

Make no mistake, way too many young Americans are suffering from an acute case of democratic socialist shiny object syndrome. From Seattle to New York City, young Americans are voting for democratic socialists at a resounding rate.

While much ink has been spilt trying to garner why so many young people are infatuated with democratic socialism, the answer may be more obvious than most think.

Based on a new poll from Rasmussen Reports and The Heartland Institute, you can blame the parents for the fact that more than half of young likely voters want to see a democratic socialist win the White House in 2028.

The poll, which surveyed 1,496 likely voters aged 18 to 39 from across the country, found that 27 percent said their parents or guardians most influenced them to support democratic socialism.

Incredibly, 54 percent of respondents said their parents or guardians, to the best of their recollection when they were growing up, had a favorable view toward democratic socialism. On the other hand, less than 20 percent said their parents had a “very unfavorable” view.

I must admit that I am shocked to see such a large percentage of parents holding a positive view of democratic socialism given the fact that socialism has failed every time it has been implemented.

A government riddled by $38T in debt, has hamstrung this nation's ability to invest in our young, and create the infrastructure to facilitate that.

For much of our gullible youth, they have been brainwashed that the American Dream Rug has been pulled from beneath them.  In almost all cases, we as a people have improved their standard of living for 100's of year.   This time not....   And the kids are looking at dangerous alternatives.

We invest more dollars in our young than any other nation.  It is not about investing anything, it is about real education, something we stopped providing when we as a society decided to dumb it down so that blacks and Hispanic could fit in and not stand out as royally dumb!

Then there is the globalists that needed for the USA to dumb down as far as possible to fit into the slave society they wish to implement upon mankind.

But in the end, it will not matter.  What we all witnessed in the movies in the  Terminator series is all coming true.  It is just a matter of time before Cyberdyne will rise to destroy humanity in its entirety.  And of course, we are doing a fine job of that already.  We murder the unborn, and call that women's rights, now they want to kill the newly born, as the former governor of Virginia was leaning, and also the elimination of the aged, or whoever no longer wants to roam the planet via euthanasia, as in Soylent Green, another movie I thought was rediculously unreal that sure does appear to be possible today.  UGGGH!

And young people embrace socialism because they are flat out dumb.  They know almost nothing.  The perfect globalist population in the making.  Sheep that are easy to lead down the path fully controlled.

   My introduction into politics was in the early 70's in HS.   I was definitely liberal because I didn't give a $hit besides most of the liberal chicks were passionate.
