The GOP doesn’t have the killer instinct Democrats have. Why is that?
By M.B. Mathews

Republicans are notorious for caving in, for breaking ranks and screwing things up at the very moment when unity is critical for success. It’s almost like we have a death wish. I have wondered for a long time why we don’t have the killer instinct Democrats have in abundance.

There is an abiding difference in worldviews between the GOP/conservatives and Democrats/leftists. The Left are meaner, nastier, more hostile and violent than the Right. So what causes that? I posit that the left are not answerable to a higher power, believing, wrongly, that they won’t suffer for their illegal and immoral behavior. The left seem to be easily able to slip the boundaries of accountability and integrity of character, and do what is most expedient rather than what is best. Their lives are firmly encased from without by a too-casual approach to honor and decency.

The left like abortion because they are godless, and view a fetus as a lifeless blob, while the right see fetuses as God’s creative human miracles. The difference in religious attitudes makes the difference. For leftists, life is for the living and a fetus is not living.

Leftists are born on the "street". GOP members are born in country clubs ...

The Left are meaner, nastier, more hostile and violent than the Right.

The left do a great job of making threats and attacking people they believe won't fight back.

Sadly, they are backed up by the too many conservatives who condemn the conservatives who are willing to fight back.

Quite frankly, it's the concern trolls among us who we must defeat before we can defeat the left.

Megan complains:

Interesting comment.
I will offer in return, a passage from a book I was just reading this afternoon:
==============================================
He took a moment to compose his thoughts. “I remember holiday gatherings growing up,” Joe started cautiously, “when the dinner would usually derail into a shouting match between you and my dad.”

Eva crossed her arms and gave her husband a disapproving look.

“And he used to say you gave conservatives a bad name. But quite frankly, you seem more conservative than he is.” Joe finished his thought.

Karl erupted in amusement. “Conservative! He thinks I’m a conservative.”

The rest of the table laughed along as Joe felt left out of an inside joke.

“Conservatives do a fine job of giving themselves a bad name without my help.” The uncle settled down.

Joe leaned forward. “Well, if you’re not a conservative, what are you?”

“Now he’s done it,” George commented to Roger.

Karl launched into a passionate speech: “What even is a conservative? What has conservatism conserved? I used to vote for conservative politicians who promised to stave the decline. All they ever accomplished was delaying the inevitable, the insatiable, and the insistent. These politicians never turned back the beast nor retook lost territory. The measure of their success was not victory but rather how well they herniated themselves struggling against the crushing weight of progressivism.” He took a deep breath. “No, I am not a conservative. I reject the capital ‘L’ Liberal dichotomy.”

Joe sat dumbfounded. “Well, there’s not really anything besides that, is there? You’re either liberal, conservative, or something in-between.”

“I am fascinated that you exist,” his uncle ribbed, “a true specimen of system propaganda.”

“Karl!” Eva chided.

Her husband put up his hands apologetically and sat back in his chair. “Liberals and conservatives are two wings of the same bird. One just happens to be ahead of the other in the race to complete oblivion.” He paused for effect. “Do you remember what label your dad uses for things the government does that he doesn’t like?”

The title of the book is "The Man In The Mirror", if anyone's interested...

Perhaps because the GOP are the forces of civilization, while the Democrats are the forces of barbarism.

The Late Romans didn't have the killer instinct the Huns had.  The monks of Lindisfarne didn't have the killer instinct Vikings had.  The Kievan Rus and Jin Dynasty Chinese didn't have the killer instinct the Mongols had.
And when they behead your own people in the wars which are to come, then you will know what this was all about.
