This is a time for choosing. Republicans who still excuse Tucker Carlson or Nick Fuentes in the name of “unity” mistake corrosion for conviction. Neither of these men stands for the GOP, or for any coherent vision of America worth defending.

They are destroyers, not reformers. Their brand of grievance, cloaked in populist rhetoric, is a poison that harms the very nation they allegedly love.

Tucker Carlson’s descent since his 2023 Fox News exit is a case study in rage without justification. He was fired from the most-watched program in conservative media and built a subscription-based platform that replaced thoughtful dialogue with sensationalism and spectacle. By 2024, he was hosting Darryl Cooper, a Holocaust denier. Carlson hailed him as “the best and most honest popular historian.”

This was not journalism. It was grotesque theater.

Carlson’s October 28, 2025 interview with Nick Fuentes marked the nadir of that collapse. There, he claimed that Christian Zionists suffer from a “brain virus,” attacking Mike Huckabee and Ted Cruz, allies of Donald Trump, for supporting Israel. Carlson’s performance came after a public summertime rift developed between himself and the President over Israel.

That might be more believable if he still wasn't saying pretty much the same thing.  His new affiliation with Temu Hitler (Fuentes) isn't helping things.

And I find it hilarious that even the most tepid of criticism of Tucker and Nick on social media has their fan boys crying "YOU'RE TRYING TO CANCEL TUCKER!!!!"

Just a few days ago it was revealed that George Soros’ Open Society is funding the pro-terror “news” publication DropSite.
Now that publication is openly promoting Nick Fuentes’ rants about Jews.
Same day Russian state news is pushing the idea that people are abandoning MAGA to support Fuentes.
If you don’t see that all of this is part of a coordinated effort to harm America, I don’t know what to tell you.

Nick Fuentes has made a number of terrible comments, but he isn't the one advocating for never ending warfare.  All of this shrieking about dissidents like Tucker Carlson, Candace Owens, Thomas Massie, MTG is just the death rattle of neoconservatism.  They're losing control, and they know it.  But there are still lots of grandma-naive Republicans.  JD Vance has a really tough assignment for 2028.  Either he makes the necessary appeal to independents or he cozies up to the donors; I don't think it is possible to do both at this point.

FWIW, this ⬆️ is the growing post Boomer worldview.  Put another way, for the generations now assuming power and those warming up in the bullpen, Israel is closer to Goliath and Hamas is closer to David leading a band of freedom fighters. 

Debate points against the message rather than the messengers would be most helpful  ---  without tying the debate back to the Holocaust or 911.  The kids, soon to be members of Congress and the Senate, simply aren't embracing the connection.
