JFK grandson Jack Schlossberg running for Congress
by Max Rego - 11/12/25 8:04 AM ET

Jack Schlossberg, the grandson of former President Kennedy, is running to succeed retiring Rep. Jerry Nadler (D-N.Y.) in the Empire State’s 12th congressional district.

In a video posted to Instagram on Tuesday, Schlossberg said the country “is at a turning point” and in the midst of a cost of living, corruption and constitutional crisis under President Trump. He added that change starts with Democrats recapturing control of the House next November.

“With control of Congress, there’s nothing we can’t do. Without it, we’re helpless to a third term,” Schlossberg said, referencing Trump’s rhetoric about running for a third term despite being constitutionally barred from doing so.

Schlossberg, 32, was born in New York City before Nadler took office in Congress. The 12th district spans the Upper West and East sides and Midtown Manhattan.

In his post, the Democrat said he “took the bus to school every single day from one side of the district to the other.” He attended the Collegiate School, an all-boys private school on the Upper West Side.

A graduate of Yale University and Harvard Law School, Schlossberg has a significant following on social media — with roughly 728,000 followers on Instagram and nearly 173,000 followers on social platform X.

Schlossberg spoke at the 2024 Democratic National Convention in Chicago, and has frequently criticized Trump and his uncle, Health and Human Services Secretary Robert F. Kennedy Jr., online.

I knew Jack Kennedy and he is no Jack Kennedy.
You don’t become cooler with age but you do care progressively less about being cool, which is the only true way to actually be cool.

Gregory Svirnovskiy of Politico has a very special gift of being able to ignore the more than obvious elephants in the room. This was on full display on Wednesday when he wrote about Jack Kennedy Schlossberg announcing his candidacy for the New York congressional seat now held by by retiring Congressman Jerry Nadler in "Schlossberg officially launches New York House campaign."

One of the elephants in the room is Schlossberg's almost non-existent work history at the age of 32 which Svirnovskiy seems either unaware of or just ignores:

"If all men are created equal, that is final. If they are endowed with inalienable rights, that is final. If governments derive their just powers from the consent of the governed, that is final. No advance, no progress can be made beyond these propositions. If anyone wishes to deny their truth or their soundness, the only direction in which he can proceed historically is not forward, but backward toward the time when there was no equality, no rights of the individual, no rule of the people."    -Calvin Coolidge

Jack Schlossberg claims ‘there’s a reason behind’ his online trolling and brings up famous family
By David Propper   New York Post
Published Nov. 26, 2025, 6:02 a.m. ET

Kennedy heir Jack Schlossberg claimed “there’s a reason” behind his online trolling and oddball social media posts — telling The Post it partially goes back to his famous family.

Schlossberg has sparked controversy for a series of off-kilter posts and videos, including creepy ones aimed at Second Lady Usha Vance – but insisted he’s only holding up a “mirror to the kind of political, cultural attacks, personality attacks that are levied against” his political dynasty family.

The Democrat has also torn into his own cousin, Health Secretary Robert F. Kennedy Jr., RFK’s wife Cheryl Hines, lawyer Alan Dershowitz and other political figures while mixing in weird videos to his massive online following.  ...

“So I think people are actually a lot smarter than they give them credit for, and I think these videos are actually a huge reason why people believe in me and that I’m someone who’s willing to put it all on the line when it matters most,” he added.

He claimed voters have “a lot of respect” for him for taking shots at figures aligned with President Trump and boasted he is taking it upon himself to “take risks and move the ball forward on behalf of the party when no one asked me to and I wasn’t a candidate.” ...

If a political party does not have its foundation in the determination to advance a cause that is right and that is moral, then it is not a political party; it is merely a conspiracy to seize power.     -Dwight Eisenhower-

"The [U.S.] Constitution is a limitation on the government, not on private individuals ... it does not prescribe the conduct of private individuals, only the conduct of the government ... it is not a charter for government power, but a charter of the citizen's protection against the government."     -Ayn Rand-

"He'll win."

Yup.
In that district, "the contest" is to win the dem-communist primary.
Once he's won that, the general election is a foregone conclusion.

Yeppers .... the name after all these years still carries some weight ... and he's a DEM.
Live in  harmony with one another; do not be haughty, but associate with the lowly, do not claim to be wiser than you are.  Do not repay anyone evil for evil, but take thought for what is noble in the sight of all.  If it is possible, so far as it depends on you, live peaceably with all.
