Omar Calls Out Schumer Over Mamdani

Rep. Ilhan Omar (D-MN) criticized Senate Minority Leader Chuck Schumer (D-NY) for his failure to back progressive Zohran Mamdani in the New York City mayoral race. Mamdani ultimately won the race despite Schumer's decision. She specifically pointed out that House Minority Leader Hakeem Jeffries (D-NY) has joined other prominent Democrats in endorsing Mamdani. Omar had urged Schumer to support Mamdani to maintain party unity.
