Woman Smiles After Chopping Sleeping Boyfriend in Hatchet Attack: Cops

A smiling mugshot of 23-year-old Lena Deoliveira has gone viral after she was arrested for allegedly attacking her sleeping boyfriend with a hatchet in a Fargo, North Dakota garage. An eyewitness claimed to see her swinging the weapon and described the sound as like splitting wood, with the victim left severely injured but alive. Deoliveira was arrested two days later in Minnesota and is now held on a $500,000 bond facing attempted murder charges.

My eyes aren't all that great anymore, and when I first saw her name in the small print I honestly thought it was Lizzy.  Probably the power of suggestion. :coffee:
