It's near impossible to sugarcoat what happened here in New York last night. The city that never sleeps fell asleep at the wheel, electing a democratic socialist (communist), pro-"seizing the means of production", anti-law enforcement, vile, American-loathing, pro-terror, radical Muslim, as its mayor.

And they did so just shy of a quarter of a century after the worst terrorist attack on American soil.

Many of us outside the fanatical left-wing mindhive in the city are looking at the election results, convinced that Mayor-elect Zohran Mamdani's ascension is a suicidal blow to the Empire City.

That said, Republicans have no choice but to pick up the shattered pieces from last night's election results and somehow find a silver lining. That is, to make the sacrifice of New York City (a queen's sacrifice in chess) into a victory for the nation as a whole.

The work has already begun. No time for sulking. There's too much at stake.

House Republicans have already produced digital ads set to run across dozens of battleground districts, pointing to the "socialist mayor" in NYC, labeling him the "future" of the Democrat party and warning voters, "your city could be next.”

He absolutely is the face of the Dems.  Almost every Dems felt compelled to endorse this fool when it was not necessary.  Why would Jakeem Jeffries, a national level politician extend his support to Mamdani?  Because he felt he is the future.  Plain and simple.

I have said for a long time on these boards that the Dems have gone full blown communist, and they have.  They are embedded in every branch of government, and now they are coming out from the shaddows.

I mean really, why would Mamdani make his statement against Trump?  His harsh sounding comment against Trump was truly assinine, and his agenda is clear.  Like Obama as US Senator, he does not plan to be Mayor of New York long.  However, this fool may not know that becoming POTUS requires being USA born.  He is literally that dumb!  But then again, the Dems are dumb enough to do away with the born in the USA requirment to get their new god in the office of POTUS.  Watch for the Dems to bow before this clown, and in doing so, the party will continue to decline further.  They are clueless!

Please do not forget 2020.  Does anyone on these boards believe Wrecking Ball Joe actually got 81 million votes?  The largest in history.  Really?

They fixed the election in 2020.  And that ability did not disappear.  They may choose not to use that ability with every election, but the ability still exists.  The Republicans have done nothing to fix the wrongs of 2020.  NOTHING!

So, if they want AOC, or Jasmine Crockett, or Beto O'Roarke to run for POTUS, and get elected, that person may well get a new record to break Biden's record.  Until the wrongs of 2020 are fixed, our republic is dead.  Kamala may still have a chance.  All she has to do is stay in her basement and only read prepared statements.  No interviews where her word salad would get her in trouble, and she could cross home plate.  Welcome to the Twilight Zone.

I did hear a Dem leaning journalist use the word REPUBLIC for the first time this past week.  I nearly fell out of my shoes.   I have never heard a Democommie politician use the word REPUBLIC.  NOT EVER!  It is always DEMOCRACY.
