I see a large amount of large round asses there which tells me the crowd is thick with Karens.
Elissa De Souza@ElissaDeSouzaI woke up to a lot of comments saying things like, “I don’t see any crime, Elissa,” or “It’s just kids being kids it’s Halloween,” or that “parents should handle this.” But as someone who ACTUALLY lives here in Navy Yard, it’s not that simple. The intent behind my post was not to claim an “active crime in progress.” It’s about safety awareness both for neighbors who live here and for others who might be heading into the area unaware of what’s been happening. It’s also about calling attention to a growing problem and encouraging more consistent measures, like continuing curfews and increased community support. When large groups like this gather, they’re not just standing around playing board games. They’re damaging property, running into residents with bikes, screaming at people, climbing on cars and poles and causing general chaos. This isn’t about kids hanging out. It’s about safety and respect for the community and for the people who live here, work here, and walk their dogs here every night. Those of us who call this home have every right to be concerned when what should be a fun evening turns into something unsafe and destructive.7:18 AM · Nov 1, 2025
