Anyone else watch JD and this event????

I was thoroughly impressed by JD so much so that he caught my attention and I couldn't stop watching him.  Definitely conservatives need him to win in 2028, but it was very obvious that he has the ability to connect  with people and he connected with the youth that was in the audience.  So, he would be a great leader of TPUSA .

So perhaps he could campaign for 2028 as well as get our youth involved and to limit the liberal indoctrination that has happened in our schools and on college campuses.  I'm not sure that he can do both at the same time. He certainly has the energy, he certainly is articulate and as I mentioned earlier he connects with people.  That is so very important.

As much as I like DeSantis and think he also would make a good president; that is what he's missing.  He doesn't have the natural ability to connect with people.

I hate to be a contrarian, but is Erika Kirk really the face and future of TPUSA?  She's seems like a wonderful lady, and has gone through hell.  But can CK's legacy be sustained by someone who doesn't have the incredible skill and reach of Charlie?  They need a bulldog in the same vein....   Ben Shapiro maybe?

I hate to be a contrarian, but is Erika Kirk really the face and future of TPUSA?  She's seems like a wonderful lady, and has gone through hell.  But can CK's legacy be sustained by someone who doesn't have the incredible skill and reach of Charlie?  They need a bulldog in the same vein....   Ben Shapiro maybe?

I agree, Erika isn't the face and future of TPUSA.  Right now she's a mess and rightfully so.  JD is about the closest person that they have to Charlie to pave the way.  He needs someone to help him grab the youth vote in 2028 while he hits the campaign trail.  I can't think of anyone that can connect with people like he can.  Only one that remotely comes to mind is Don Jr.  As much as I don't like building a dynasty I can't think of anyone else who can connect with people and has the energy and exuberance that is going to be needed ... and yes, I believe along with Vance they can bring us a home run.

In looking at 2028 ... I think a Vance/Trump ticket would work.

Shapiro may not work out as he is Jewish.  Not that there is anything wrong about being Jewish, but Kirk believed in Jesus Christ and is was his faith that he relied upon and whom he lived for.

Correct me  if I am wrong, but the Jewish religion rejects that Jesus is the Lord Christ and the Son of God the Father.

Maybe it's Tucker Carlson cozying up to out-and-out antisemites like Nick Fuentes.  As Sen. Cruz said of Carlson in a recent interview for The Free Press, in reference to Carlson's interview of Fuentes, "If you sit there with someone who says Adolph Hitler was very, very cool and that their mission is to combat and defeat 'global Jewry,' and you say nothing, then you are a coward and you are complicit in that evil."

As to not being our own worst enemy, the way to ensure that in this instance is to cast Jew-haters into the outer darkness, not coddle them and give them excuses like the Left has done.

Carlson lets his interviewees speak their minds with little pushback. I'm not sure that means he embraces what they are saying so much as encourages them to say it, whatever that is.
As a result we get a better view of the interviewee's beliefs and positions than we might if Carlson pushed back and put them on the defensive.

At least that's the M.O. I have seen him use.
 
I may not agree (or may even vehemently disagree) with who he is talking with, but at least I get a peek inside their head that I might not get if they went on the defensive because Carlson was pushing back.
