I think he's likely taken note of palaces that he has entered in the ME; in particular Emirates Palace in Abu Dhabi and the gold Arabian Palace. Yet the U.S. is using tents????  Seriously.  That is embarrassing.

Don't forget the high end porta potty bathrooms included in the tents.  (Guests are not given access to the WH and indoor plumbing.)

Gilded or not, I don't object to the construction of a ballroom. It's a national embarrassment that we're holding formal events for foreign dignitaries in tents with porta-potties, like a bunch of football tailgaters.

You've got to be freakin' kidding me.  Pora potties???  What a national embarrassment and these clowns are complaining about an enlarged, upgraded ballroom in the WH  that will be beautiful and impressive when it's done and they won't have to use tents for crying out loud.  Give me a break.

Yes,  porta potties. But, since they're upscale, they're called "portable restrooms" (with several individual porta-potties with doors inside)

I bet if more Americans knew this, they'd be showing up at the WH with their shovels to help
