A 21-year-old illegal immigrant from India who crossed the southern border in 2022 and was released by the Biden administration is now accused of causing a fiery semi-truck crash that killed three people in Southern California, multiple federal law enforcement sources tell Fox News.
 
According to federal sources, the suspect, identified as Jashanpreet Singh, was first encountered by Border Patrol agents in California's El Centro Sector in March 2022, and released into the interior of the country pending an immigration hearing.

Singh has now been arrested on suspicion of gross vehicular manslaughter while intoxicated after plowing his big rig into slow-moving traffic on the I-10 Freeway in San Bernardino County.

A social media post by a Sikh-American went viral after Indian-origin Jashanpreet Singh was charged in a deadly chain-reaction crash in California's Ontario which killed three people, including a Pomona High School basketball coach and his wife. New Jersey's Amerinder Khatra, a registered Republican, posted that no Sikh organization should help Jashanpreet with his legal fees.

"I just want to say as a Sikh-American that this is unacceptable and has to end. He should be prosecuted to the fullest extent of the law — then deported. No Sikh organization should help this guy with his legal fees. Going forward — the DOT needs to audit the CDL records of every Democratic state in this nation (especially California)," Khatra posted and was accused of cozying up to the right wing.

Federal prosecutors are now revealing that an illegal alien, accused of killing three people while driving a semi-trailer truck, had failed a written driving exam 10 times in yet another shocking revelation in the case.


In August, 28-year-old illegal alien Harjinder Singh of India was driving a semi-truck when he made an illegal U-turn on a Florida highway and spurred a crash that left three people dead.

Video of the crash quickly went viral as Singh, and his brother in the passenger seat, can be seen having little-to-no reaction to the crash.


Attorney General James Uthmeier, who is investigating how Singh was able to secure a Commercial Driver’s License (CDL), says the illegal alien repeatedly failed a written exam before the crash.
