US military carries out new Caribbean strike, survivors found for first time
 
In what US officials described as an unprecedented twist in the campaign against suspected narcotics traffickers, the US military carried out a new strike on Thursday against a suspected drug vessel in the Caribbean, and for the first time, there were survivors among the crew.
 
A US official, speaking to Reuters on condition of anonymity, confirmed the strike but declined to provide further details, calling it "a developing operational situation." The Pentagon has not commented on the incident.

The operation marks a dramatic continuation of President Donald Trump's ongoing war against narcoterrorists, a term his administration uses to describe armed drug-trafficking networks allegedly operating from Venezuela.

"The United States is already at war with narcoterrorist groups from Venezuela," a senior administration figure told reporters earlier this week. "Our actions are both legal and necessary to protect American lives."

Since drugs, I'm sure, kill many, many, many more people each year in California than guns, why doesn't Gavin Newsom (presidential hopeful) go after drug trafficking rather than attacking the 2nd Amendment?  It couldn't be he fears losing California's electoral votes because so many people in the state are junkies, could it? :yowsa:

They can't agree with or support anything Pres. Trump is doing, because that would imply he's right, and give him cred ... which is  unacceptable to Leftists

So they have to automatically oppose everything he's doing
