'I'm a US Citizen!': Masked ICE Agents Tackle Teenager Outside Chicago Area Walgreens
Federal agents tackled a US citizen outside a Walgreens on Chicago’s East Side on the morning of Tuesday, October 14. Jose Aguilar captured this video showing several Border Patrol agents entering a Walgreens on East 106th Street before running out after a teenager, identified as 19-year-old Warren King, according to local outlet ABC7. In the video, a Border Patrol agent can be seen tackling King as people shout and insist he’s a US citizen. The agent sitting on King’s back can be seen attempting to keep his face covered as he and another agent shout at onlookers to “get the f— back!” “I’m a US citizen!” King can also be heard telling the agents. According to ABC7, King was in the store shopping with his friends and family. ABC7 reported that federal agents were searching the store for someone after a federal operation led to a crash and pursuit on the East Side on Tuesday, eventually spilling over into the Walgreens. The Department of Homeland Security said, according to ABC7, that a driver and alleged undocumented immigrant rammed into an agent vehicle and tried to run away. They were taken into custody.
