New York magazine wondered aloud about the success of President Donald Trump in achieving a peace deal in the Middle East while the Biden administration was an utter failure in that regard. That puzzlement was reflected in the title of Ross Barkan's Tuesday Intelligencer section column, "How Did Trump Get a Peace Deal Done Where Biden Could Not?"

Barkin struggles with the idea of Trump's success by denigrating him as merely a transactional deal maker in the real estate mode as well as being primarily motivated by a desire to win the Nobel Peace Prize. Yes, such mockery is to be expected in the liberal New York magazine but what really stands out is also Barkan's criticism of Biden and his administration which is not merely harsh but downright brutal.

"Don't" as whispered by Biden just wasn't effective. Trump just might reign hell on you. People know that. It's not a bad thing. :laugh:

Brandon is a space cadet.  He didn't run the office of the presidency, either Jill or Obama did.  He had no interest in doing anything other than being propped up and pretending to be president and doing what he was told. He spent a lot of time out of the oval office.

4 long years of him wreaking havoc on our country.

Trump, much to his credit has once again turned this country around and he has us headed in the right direction.  I only hope that we get another patriotic president who wants to keep America great seated in 2028.

Helps that Israel had broken the nose of it's opponent.... and Hamas just wanted to buy some time until it's next assault.

In the long run, this peace deal only puts Israel on the backburner for a few years instead of actually delivering a knockout blow. IMHO... the US should of stood out of the way and let Israel actually deliver a message without tying one hand behind it's back.

OTOH, I was happy to see Trump knock Iran's nuclear plant out of operation. Happy is probable an understatement.
