That's nothing new.

I'm surprised her staff allowed her to be in a situation where she could be confronted by unfriendly reporters.

Elizabeth Warren has been whisked away by her staff many times when hostile reporters started asking questions that may not have been pre-approved by her staff.

That's how limousine liberals avoid intellectual, rational debate - they throw nutties of righteous indignation.

This was a badly acted set up for Pelosi and Schumer to pretend that Trump "blocked" the National Guard on J6 when it was Pelosi who refused to authorize them, despite @ChiefSund's repeated requests to her Sergeant at Arms over the days and hours leading up to the Capitol breach.

That's the way it works at the Capitol. Pelosi and then-Senate leader McConnell had to give the green light. McConnell's Sergeant at Arms deferred to Pelosi's because she is a little tyrant and all the men except Trump were scared of her. Trump already told the military they should be deploying the National Guard to keep what he knew would be a large crowd safe. They ignored him and DC Mayor Muriel Bowser, probably at the urging of Pelosi, wrote a letter banning federal troops from entering the capital.

Delusional Dems had convinced themselves that Trump wanted the military because he wanted to stage a coup - against himself? After J6, Pelosi militarized the capital.
