Democrat Illinois gov JB Pritzker has declared that America is currently witnessing what the early days of the Third Reich resembled.

“In the early days of the Nazi regime, they started slowly but surely taking away people’s rights,” Pritzker babbled during an interview.

“And what we’re seeing now is the very same thing,” he further declared.


Pritzker’s remarks come just one week after he said it was dangerous for the Trump Administration to label Democrats as “fascists”
 

Yet now he is not just comparing the Administration to Nazis, but declaring they are “the same thing.”

When Trump began federal interventions in Chicago, Pritzker doubled down, likening the president’s vow to deploy the National Guard to the Nazis “tearing down a constitutional republic,” conveniently ignoring Chicago’s 2024 homicide tally, which topped 600 by year’s end.

It's obvious he's an antisemite who either never read about the third Reich or discounts it's validity, plus he has all those jihadis in Minnesota who he doesn't want to upset.  The next illegal voting cycle isn't that far off, so he has to mollify all the dead and present Muslim illegal voters.

The average American's knowledge and understanding of WWII in general, and the Third Reich in particular - Nazi beliefs and actions - is ridiculously poor. Blame their inadequate education or their own lack of curiosity, but the result is that we have left-wing morons like Jelly Belly Prickster (see also, Joy Behar, AOC, Hillary Clinton, etc., etc.) calling everything and everyone they hate "Nazi."

Of course, he couldn't identify one "right" Trump actually has "taken away" from anyone, but we can't let facts get in the way now, can we?

Victor Klemperer's autobiography, "I Will Bear Witness: A Diary of the Nazi Years, 1933-1941," is an accurate account of what really happened in Nazi Germany, unlike anything Prickster says, and it contradicts today's leftists' descriptions of what happens under fascism.

Yes, I will have to get the book and read it too.  However, I have a fairly good memory what transpired in Germany.

And what is sad, is that the stinking Democommies have the ability to slander Donald Trump and his administration without consequence.  Trump should be able to sue that fat slug in Illinois for a couple hundred million.  I deplore that slug.

And in regard to the educational system in the USA, it has declined so much that we no longer teach anything.  Kids know electronics, and that is about it.  Geography, history, writing, critical thinking have all gone by the wayside.

That is why I believe we are absolutely headed to the movie The Terminator life in the future, where human will be hunted down and destroyed as much as possible.  However, I doubt there will be a John or Sarah Connor to save the day.

@ libertybele @mountaineer There is a second volume covering 42-45. The negative reviews are about small type font and the condition of the copies they bought. Seems like a couple of good reads. Oddly enough two of my nintrh graders got pulled from my class for doing the Nazi salute during video done at our school last week.

Hitler (who was an Austrian) had German citizens locked up and put in camps if they weren't murdered.

Trump is enforcing the Immigration Laws of the United States as they were written and passed by Congress.  Trump is deporting persons who criminally crossed the border or criminally overstayed their visas.

The democratic process has confirmed that America is a nation of laws, and, as such, those laws are to be enforced.

What part of democracy and law don't Dems understand?  The majority of Americans want the Federal Government to execute the Laws of the United States as they are written.

I bought the two volumes covering the war years, including his gripping account of the bombing of Dresden. Apparently, there's another part of his diary for post-1945, but I haven't read it.

It's infuriating that children ever have been enthralled with Hitler. If they'd been properly and truthfully taught, they might see things differently.
