Chicago police chief accuses ICE agents of making 'ridiculous' fake 911 calls

CBS News Chicago reported that the ICE facility in Broadview, Illinois, has been "draining the resources" of the Broadview Police by making "false 911 calls", according to Thomas Mills, the chief.
The news agency reportedly obtained body camera video footage that shows several Broadview officers responding to a 911 call "claiming someone was tampering with a gate at the ICE detention facility."
This gate is where ICE takes detained immigrants for processing, however, when the police responded to the call, they found "two people and a camera" at the location.
The photographer was from CBS News Chicago and was filming the exterior of the building, with a CBS security guard by his side. The 911 call claimed "someone was tampering with the gate."
The Mirror US reached out to DHS to respond to Mills' claims but didn't get a clear response. Instead DHS asked Mirror US about the number of calls Broadview Police department was claiming to have received.
