The latest shutdown showdown found corporate media keyed up over whether or not it was “appropriate” for the president to use AI “in jest” against “disingenuous” top Democrats.

In addition to holding a bilateral meeting with Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu toward attaining peace in Gaza, President Donald Trump met with the leaders of Congress on Monday to discuss government funding. By Monday evening, the chief executive had rankled the left anew with an AI-altered video of Senate Minority Leader Chuck Schumer (D-NY) and House Minority Leader Hakeem Jeffries (D-NY) that found outlets pressing for a response.

This included CNN’s Kaitlan Collins who took time during a Monday interview to ask Kansas Sen. Roger Marshall (R) whether or not it was appropriate for the president to share the video of the Democrats set to mariachi music and featuring Jeffries wearing a sombrero with a large mustache superimposed on his face while Schumer said, “Look guys, there’s no way to sugarcoat it. Nobody likes Democrats anymore. We have no voters left because of all our woke, trans bullsh*t. Not even black people want to vote for us anymore. Even Latinos hate us.”

For years we were told that Republicans and Conservatives had no sense of humor. The libs would mock us deride us and tell us we had no sense of humor  for not laughing at their "jokes". Then along comes Rush Limbaugh and throws it right back in their faces. He mocked them with parodies and jokes at their expense. Others began to slowly pick up the baton. We have Greg Gutfeld, Glenn Beck, Matt Walsh, etc.... and Suddenly it is unseemly, unbecoming to the office, unprofessional... the list goes on.
Suck it up buttercup, if you can dish it out you better be willing to eat off the same plate.

Barack the Magic Negro is a perfect example.    Rush took an idiotic liberal LA Times op-ed, written by cultural critic David Ehrenstein,  headlined “Obama the 'Magic Negro.' ” and flipped it will hilarious results.

I believe it's called satire.  It is protected political speech.  It's funny because it's true.

The Dems are angry because it calls them out for who they really are, and they don't like it.

Cancel Culture and the Dems' War Against Comedy are other facets of 'Political Correctness', which is an attempt to control public dialogue and private thought.

I love watchng stand up comedy, and I can truthfully say that the era of cancel culture as it applies to comedy is dying....   slowly but still dying.
