President Trump showed off the latest gold trimmings to adorn the Oval Office in an odd social media post — insisting world leaders “freak out” when they walk in and see the bling.
“Some of the highest quality 24 Karat Gold used in the Oval Office and Cabinet Room of the White House,” Trump wrote on Truth Social Sunday.
“Foreign Leaders, and everyone else, ‘freak out’ when they see the quality and beauty. Best Oval Office ever, in terms of success and look!!!,” he wrote, signing the post “President DJT.”

Trump included a quiet video panning over an array of what appeared to be gold wall moldings laid out and ready to be hung up in the White House.
The president recently boasted about the golden overhaul he was giving the White House — only for internet sleuths to speculate that decorators had actually bought cheap Home Depot wall fixtures and spray-painted them gold.
“People have tried to come up with a gold paint that would look like gold, and they’ve never been able to do it,” Trump told Fox News’ Laura Ingraham in March. “You’ve never been able to match gold with gold paint.”
But internet trolls thought Trump’s decorating team had tried to do just that, and flagged apparent Home Depot listings showing moldings that looked remarkably like the gilt that recently appeared in the White House.
The home improvement store products cost between $30 and $50, according to the Independent — a far cry from the price of 24-karat gold.
